About us

We are a company dedicated to the extraction and elaboration of the granite. We have our material in exclusive rights, SPECIAL BLACK OCHAVO, with great reserves in our quarry, situated in the term of Burguillos del Cerro, in the province of Badajoz, with an approximated volume of 200 m3 monthly.

We are a small-medium company that is made up of 15 workers, due to the great demand of work that we have. We have 40 years of experience behind us in the sector, mainly in the referring one to the quarry. In 1999 we opened our factory with 3000 m2, where we elaborate our material with the most modernist machines in the market. We exposed the first time in the Fair of Stone 2002 in Madrid and everything was a success with great affluence from visitors and clients in ours stand.

Our quarry, the base of our company is just 100 meters from the factory, we have the latest technology of extraction, we extract large blocks of granite BLACK OCHAVO SPECIAL.

Our blocks are distinguished by the qualities: First quality, Second quality, Commercial quality and last third quality.

Finally we have a large reserve of granite.

Transformation and elaboration

We are a company dedicated, exclusively and exclusively to the extraction and elaboration of Black Ochavo Special Granite, with quarry in property. Currently we are leaders in the extraction of this type of granite.

Our presence in the most important fairs of the sector, such as Stone Tec, in Nuremberg, Germany, Batimat, (Paris, France), Piedra (Madrid, Spain), Mamomacc (Verona, Italy) the sector.

In our factory we have machines of the latest technology as well as a staff specialized in extraction and processing of natural stone. We elaborate all type of finishes: polished, abujardado, flamed, brushed, cut of disc, cut of shears, etc ,. In our facilities we have two defined sections: Funerary Art and Public Works, Civil and private.

In funerary art we are one of the leading companies in the sector, we elaborate all type of funerary works, pantheons, tombstones, columbarios, sarcophagi, etc. Our market is spread throughout Spain, our works are placed in the cemeteries of Salamanca, Zamora, Leon, Palencia, Soria, Navarra, La Rioja, Ciudad Real, Madrid, Burgos, et, 95% of funerary work is done by us.

With respect to Public Works, we also have great experience, throughout our career we have done large and small projects in Spain, Germany, France, Great Britain, etc.

Extraction and processing of granite

We make all kind of public and civil works. We elaborate paving stones of all the finished and measures, curbs and floor tiles, socles, etc. Our works in this sector are at the Underground stations in Madrid, squares in Girona, León, Pontevedra, etc. In civil works, our works are in Madrid , Toledo , Navarra, Teruel, Salamanca , Burgos , León, Badajoz , etc.

We are specialistic in funeral art, we make all kind of work for the cemetery, as crossings, pantheons, tombstones, etc. Our cemetery works are in the main cemeteries, Burgos, Salamanca, Zamora, Zaragoza, Ávila, Madrid, Toledo, Navarra, León, etc.

Special Ochavo

Features and location

Geologically, it is Diorite. It is a rock of dark grey compact medium grain and of irregular fracture. It is located in the province of Badajoz. The exploitation fronts are of great length in which blocks of great dimensions can be extracted.

The size of its grains oscillates between 1,5 and 1,6 mm and admits any finished type, it is not appreciated loss of polished.

This type of granite can be used as much in the outside as in the inside.
